How do I include Sustain'd on my blog or website?

If you would like to include a link on your blogs and web pages for people to automatically be able to sustain it, you can read the tutorial.

How do I submit a webpage that doesn't have a Sustain'd button?

If you would like to submit something, use the navigation link at the top of the page. You can enter the URL of the site there.

How does a post make it to the front page?

As of right now, a submitted post needs get 12 sustainings in order to make it to the front page of Sustain'd. As more people use the site, that number will likely change and be updated.

How do I remove a post that shouldn't be on Sustain'd?

In the sublinks under each post's title is a link to "oppose" the story. An opposing vote counts as a negative sustaining vote. If the total number of sustainings drops below the threshold (10 right now) it will no longer show up on the front page, but will still be included in the "upcoming sustainings" section.

Why the name Sustain'd?

In the LDS culture, we sustain our leaders. That means that we support them, assist them, and give consent to their new role. Now, you can "sustain" somebody's blog post or web page, showing that you are in favor of and support it. All without having to exert the energy of actually raising your hand!

I'm not able to sustain something more than once. What gives?

Each person can only sustain something one time. Easy, turbo!
