This is a great site full of interesting information for lds and non-lds alike. Gives a well rounded look at the church and it's members with a bit of humor here and there. Very helpful for members to use as a missonary tool.

I'm going to oppose not because I don't like the author or his goal, but because I think there are many other sites, the Church's official sites included, that do a better job. I would not point my non-member friends here for answers.

    Perhaps. But some people may not be willing to go to the "official" source for info, preferring instead to read what independent voices have to say. This is not an uncommon preference, actually.

I agree -- there are some great unofficial sites out there. I just don't think this one is as good.

By the way, is "frozenchosenAK" from Alaska? When I was in Sweden, the Finnish missionaries called themselves the frozen chosen :-)

    How funny. Maybe it is a fairly common nickname and all of us think we made it up ourselves! Anyway, yes I am from Alaska. :)

    I looked at the site; it wasn't BAD, per se. But I thought it was funny how the headline says "Learn the truth from the source" and then goes on beneath to say that he is not the source, but if you want the source, here are links to the official webpages.

    Ah well, if it does a bit of good toward helping non-LDS understand us a bit, I suppose it serves its purpose.
