Bad Move, Deseret Book!

Deseret Book announced that it has purchased Seagull Books and publisher Covenant Communications. This blog post says that this is a bad move for the LDS market.

I find this rather strange. First Deseret Book says they won't sell to Seagull Book & Tape any more. Then 6 months of 'discussions.' Then *poof* their being acquired. Can anyone say monopoly? Pressure to create a crisis, and then a quick buyout and they control the whole market. And being Canadian, I know all too well how monopolies suck.
