The Economist: Nuanced and Fair Coverage of the Church

The Economist highlighted the Church in a recent article. In my opinion, nuanced and fair coverage of the Church does not get better than this. The fact that it appears in one of the most highly respected periodicals in the world only helps.

P.S. When it comes to assessing the Book of Mormon and the Book of Abraham, there is of course much more to the story. I think the article falls sadly short on this front. Folks at the BYU Maxwell Institute should have been consulted for the rest of the story.

The article was good, but not exactly "fair". An think an honest attempt at research was made by the author (though there were about half a dozen fairly obvious inaccuracies).

Very positive overall.
