According to one report, Elvis Presley wrote notes in a Book of Mormon as he read it.

I've actually held the copy of the Book of Mormon he owned — it's one of those paperback ones with the gilded Angel Moroni statues on the front... and it had notes in it.

Apparently he was given the book shortly before his death. When his personal effects were returned to his family, they graciously donated the book back to the church.

It's been a while, so I hope I have the details correct.
