Sustaind.org is sick. :( If you're a PHP programmer, can you help us upgrade Sustain'd and get it working again? If interested, email richard AT moregoodfoundation DOT org.

Blue Coat Systems provides a free web filter for installation on home PCs. I have used other free filters before. The simplicity, function, fit and finish of this one make it the best one I've seen so far.

OK, I sustained because I think it is relevant, considering the official anti-porn stance the Church (and true LDS members) has.

A couple of years ago I ran into a flyer form Blue Coat about the free version of K9 Web Protection. We've been using that at home for 2 years and it is extremely good, accurate and secure. I've also installed it in other people's computers upon request.

For Linux I would recommend DansGuardian. The setup requires some work, but you can find step-by-step guides.

Opposed since it is nothing but an advert and not even LDS-specific at that.

Sustained for relevancy. I don't think everything on Sustain'd has to bear the golden seal of the LDS Church. And I don't know where else I'd find this kind of information.

It is free, so I don't mind the "advert" Now, can someone recommend a filtered ISP? I would rather just have the filtering happen before it comes into the home.

willf, http://www.neatsite.com/isp-fam.htm

I don't know if any of those serve the area you live at though.

Google History is too creepy and big brother-like.

I suggest two replacement words:

1) Mac

2) Bumpercar (http://www.freeverse.com/bumpercar2)
