    Actually, where does it say that? It's not in the terms or the FAQ. I did it myself to find out what would be expected of my readers if they used the button. I don't ask them to do anything I'm not comfortable doing myself.

I think danithew meant that it's inappropriate to submit a link that's to your own content.

And if he doesn't mean that, I certainly do. It say explicitly in the posting guidelines not to link to your own content.
