Brothers and Sisters, it has become necessary to conduct some business. Would all those bloggers who wish to participate please stand?

It is proposed that we sustain all of these bloggers as participants in this new web site. All those in favor may make it manifest by raising the right hand. Thank you. All opposed, repent and register an account.

Yup, just be sure to add the javascript to your blogs (see the first FAQ on how to do that) so people can easily start submitting!

By the way, 'Nacle blogging slows down towards the weekend. So don't be disappointed if things don't start chugging along until early next week. I'm sure there will still be some participation.

This is not a criticism, only an observation, but I wonder is if the criteria is too high to make it the home page considering the age if this community? Two days, lots of Sustainings, and there is still only one site on the story on the home page.

Maybe even make it 8 for a brief while. You can always bump the numbers up again as more people begin to participate.

Perhaps you should target the number of articles you would like to have appear on the home page (5?) and adjust the bar regularly to make that happen?

Even better, how about creating an algorithm? Don't just pick an arbitrary number of sustainings, but a number in relation to what the other posts have (perhaps a number above a baseline or average). As well, a sustaining by someone who has a post that has been sustained would have a greater weight than someone who hasn't submitted any posts. You know, that sort of thing.
