Interesting argument.

The fact that pro-gay advocates seem to be more focused in using belittling and/or insulting language (as opposed to responding to evidence) is even more interesting and fascinating.

    Agreed. Reading through the responses was fascinating and amusing to me. When one's position is weak, degenerate to attacking the person rather than focus on the topic.

I usually don't like LDS PR men, I can't help but admire Otterson. The comments that man puts put with from Mayan Elephant show just how dedicated (and honest) he is about his positions. Even a cynical edge-of-the-borderlander like myself has to admire that kind of faith and stubbornness.

While I have personal stakes in any discussion of being gay and Mormon, I can't help but be thoroughly nonplussed by a short article that sheds no new light on the matter for people who've read anything the Church has said on it over the last few years — not to mention a discussion that quickly devolves into the same, tired, partisan claptrap.
