Sustaind.org is sick. :( If you're a PHP programmer, can you help us upgrade Sustain'd and get it working again? If interested, email richard AT moregoodfoundation DOT org.

Follow Jana's link to whydoesGodhateamputees.com and ponder this provocative question: why has prayer never "healed" an amputee? Why then do we suppose that through our prayers other diseases have been cured? I would love to see a discussion of this article by some of the Mormon apologists out there.

There's interesting comments on the blog about God's purposes for us. I didn't see the issue that way at all. I actually saw it as a valid attack on the existence (or personal involvement) of God.

So did I. Can you refute the article?

Far more of a problem for the Pentecostal set than our particular brand of faith healing, espeically with our specific theology of God and His will... But the fact this is less of a problem for us, dosen't make it disappear.

How do we know that limbs don't regenerate simply because we are so sure it is impossible for them to regenerate?

You know, with a history of Red Sea partings and mountains moving and such, I just don't see how anyone can be sure a lack of faith isn't a huge issue here, not that I'm castigating anyone or claiming to possess such faith myself. See J. Stapley's recent post on the subject of faith and miracles.
