A little comfort for one maligned.(Blog author)

I adopted the LDS perspective in 1982 and have been rather abnormal in my fervour to find truth. I have much to learn and find that I learn on every interaction with non-members who have any real desire to know truth and share the truth they have found, no matter how arrogantly. Much arrogance is not intentional and much is only perceived. We would appreciate each other far more if we could spend a few moments from the others perspective. In 26 years, I have never found anything to shake my faith and I never turn from those who would help me see the truth I don't have. I have not read your original blog but strongly support the things you have said in your response to the attach you discribe. Our faith clearly identifies that while theis is the only true church, other faiths have much truth and inspiration, do much good, do much to prepare non-members for the gospel and enjoy inspiration ftom the Holy Spirit. Non-member are not doomed either and many will accept the truth after their mortal sojourn.
