" For nearly a century and a half, Mormons have sat stiffly on the white pine benches in the Tabernacle on Temple Square, enjoying songs, sermons and symphonies reverberating through the famous hall. Pioneers handcrafted the pews and painstakingly painted them to look like oak, which was unavailable to them. Though uncomfortable, the pews were among the Tabernacle's defining features. But when the sacred building reopens next spring, most of the pews will be gone. The LDS Church confirmed Wednesday pews are being replaced by near replicas made of oak as part of the Tabernacle's renovation. "

on the otherhand i think the issue of maintaining historic sites is pretty interesting. perhaps its something that i inherited from my grandpa.
At any rate, I have not opposed posts only because it was you. Honestly, I don't have the time/interest to go around opposing your posts as part of some little tribal war. Yea, hard to imagine, but it is possible that some people might not care about your opinion.
I did give 20-30 second browsings to your posts. I just don't think they portray a situation under a fair and balanced point of view, and thus they are not good for starting an honest debate.
You should look around more carefully before you start singing "poor liberal mormon", I actually sustained one or two of your posts that seemed surprisingly above your usual standards.
