Little did these Elders know when they started the week that their missionary efforts would catch the attention of the entire town of Albuquerque, NM. Honesty pays a bigger reward than the sacrifice costs. I'm certain that $1200 wouldn't cover the amount of press (and certainly the goodwill) they've received.

Cool story!

In fact, on my mission I also found a big wad of money. I thought of taking it to the police, but in the country where I served my mission they don't have Lost n' Found for money (other than the police officers keeping it for themselves). So, I kept it :p

At 500,000 people, that's a pretty big "town".
