Since Salt Lake County is only about 50% LDS, I often wonder whether these LDS-focused ads drive away non-LDS customers...

I wondered that too, and someone told me that the charter for Deseret First allows only LDS to join. I don't know if that's true, and I was surprised to hear that they could limit it by religion.
