Here is something I've always thought a bit about. A lot of places which do direct deposit allow you to deposit into multiple accounts. Why not have a separate back account which temporarily holds your tithing until you pay it. Then you set up your direct deposit options to deposit 10% of your paycheck into the special tithing account, which you later pay tithing with.
