Very interesting idea. I was just considering getting a map and some tacks and doing this old school. I think I'll try this first.

Nice, short write-up... though I'd like to see privacy of data addressed in the article itself, and not as an aside in one of the comments.

Membership data is EXTREMELY sensitive, and any use of it outside of the norm should be undertaken gingerly.
