Sustaind.org is sick. :( If you're a PHP programmer, can you help us upgrade Sustain'd and get it working again? If interested, email richard AT moregoodfoundation DOT org.

Another LDS Digg?

It looks like sustain'd is catching on, as someone else has created a Digg-like news site targeted towards LDS.

Hmm, I don't see any advantages to this over Sustain'd and I do some disadvantages. It took three tries at different times before the site loaded. Also it has ads, and not all were exactly faithful LDS sites. And it seems a bit tacky to advertise a competitor to this site here, particularly when it's a money-making site. I didn't see any information there about who's running it or what their goals are for it either.

I don't see this as a replacement for Sustain'd. Sustain'd compliments a more tech audience, while Came2Pass.com is more broad, and will probably even satisfy those less-tech oriented much more.

BTW, if you can't tell already, I run Came2Pass.com and my goals are to finally provide a clean, 21st century news site for all LDS families. Since it is a social site run by users, I encourage you to notify me if you see anything inappropriate and it will be removed immediately.

Again, I think Sustain'd and Came2Pass.com can compliment each other - I encourage you to be a member of both! I know I will.

Thanks for your input sootica - if I can change Came2Pass in any way that you think it can be improved please let me know.

JesseStay - Sustain'd does not target a tech audience by any means. The intended audience for Sustain'd is anybody with an internet connection, be they LDS or not. Content submitted is not tech-specific either. As the sidebar said, it's any LDS-oriented page.

What's Sustain'd?

Sustain'd is a place where people can submit and "sustain" their favorite LDS-oriented web pages. Blog posts, photo pages, church articles, you name it.
