What would Jesus do? Feed the poor, tend to His flock, seek those who need the Gospel, show compassion to those who speak against Him. This is exactly what Elder Robert C. Oaks and Elder M. Russell Ballard showed Rev Al Sharpton on Monday May 21 2007. The church even expended their own broadcast center for Sharpton to record his Monday talk show. But Sharpton never repented of his actions nor did he acknowledged the fact that he called Mormons Godless.

Sharpton is making himself irrelevant. In the same debate where he made this statement he pretty much disavowed the Bible in his arguments with the atheist Christopher Hitchens. You can watch it here: http://fora.tv/fora/showthread.php?t=1007

Hitchens attacks the Bible in his arguments against God, and Sharpton's response is basically, well then let's ignore the bible, do you still have an argument that there is no God. Whaaaaaaat???

If you see his comment about Romney in context of his arguments, you see that it is part of Sharpton's bizarre defense of God by basically saying that everything we (as in humankind) may know about or do to worship God may be bunk, but that doesn't prove there isn't a God.
