Oh my gosh! I could never figure out why people always picked on me at church. Sometimes it was even the leaders. I had one YW president, scream at me in the foyer between meetings while I was sitting between my mom and the 2nd counselor in the Bishopric. She insisted I was setting an awful example for all of the YW by not attending Mutual when in reality I had to work because my parents had nine kids and my dad made about $40,000 a year. I have also not been in the cool kids myself. It's a shame this happens.

    You are awesome for posting this story! I am soo sorry this happened to you in our church. I am so happy to hear it worked out well thanks to a couple good leaders who were not araid to take a stand, or should I say, "stand for truth in all times, in all things, and in all places." I hope more people read this and consider doing better in their own wards. Thank you.
